Cough & Lung Congestion Management

I am glad I am out this problem for at least 3 days now and I believe God has totally healed me. As I recalled, my lung congestion started to get serious sometime in early August where my cough is so frequent that whenever I open my mouth I will be coughing non-stop. So I actually have to drink warm water or have some tibits in my mouth in order to talk. The cough is getting more severe that I was finally hospitalized on 27th August due to high fever and shortness of breathe. I was on oxygen and nebulizer machines since after I was discharged from the hospital and I have to take 3 medicines to soften the phlegm in my lung in order to breath. The cough has caused pain to my chest, my back and everywhere that were related.
During these 2 months, I hardly have mood to do anything including eating, I was crying to God for healing and I even desperately kneeled down to pray a few times a day. Initially I was anxious wanted to get over with it by taking a lot of medications, patting my back to cough out the phlegm a few times a day until I strained my chest muscle that caused the pain that I could not move for a few days.
One day as I was praying I was guided by the holy spirit that I have to be patient and wait upon the healing. So I decided to drop the idea of healing but learning to live with the cough and I started do my deep breathing and relax, suddenly I acquire a skill that I could use the breathing rhythm to pull out the sputum from my lung and split it out naturally without much force or strength. Few days after doing this, I feel some improvement and one day I was busy and forgot to do any nebulization on that day, but to my surprise when I woke up the next day I felt that my lung was so cleared that I could breath loosely and never before I felt so good, I could breath in & out with so much of air. For more than 2 months I was not able to breath this way, it's amazing! Immediately I drop all my oral medications from that day onwards.
I believe the learning points here are:-
1. Be calm, be patient
2. Instead of rushing to get healed but learn to manage the problem
3. Always look for improvement to motiviate ourself to carry on
4. Miracle will come if we surrender our problem to the God and believe it is his will to heal us.
By the way, the warm ginger soup keep our lung warm and make us sleep better.
Hopes this post will be of help to those having long persistent cough.
God bless.
